Welcome all to tha funk called AFRODELIK. We are a clothing line dedicated to making you look and feel funky…literally How we came about is simple…. Growing up in the 70’s my house was filled with lots of music, such as Otis Redding, the Staple Singers, the Pointer Sisters and Hugh Masekela. There were symbols of coolness, like our Afropicks and prints of Black kids and Families doin’ their thang. Soul Train was our ritual Saturday afternoon Dance off.  “Lets Do it Again” with Bill Cosby and Sidney Poitier, and “Car Wash” were my favourite films at the time. And every 2nd Sunday my mom would wash my hair and hot comb it while watching the Football Game, and making Sunday’s dinner, hence the burns on my forehead and ears…never missing a beat. And I was of course a huge fan of the AFRO and everything that came from it …and that’s how AFRODELIK, the brand came about. I was influenced by my environment, my visuals, my sounds, my experiences, my history.. how about you?
